Strategy consulting

Advising on direction, market entry, and competitive positioning: strategy work for C-suite and board buyers when judgment, not a template, is missing.

The engagement

How we help

Strategy consulting is advising on direction, market entry, and competitive positioning: the decisions a business cannot afford to get wrong and cannot outsource to a model. We bring the analysis, the frameworks, and the outside perspective; you keep the decision, better informed and better defended.

What separates a strategy that works from a deck that gathers dust is whether it ever becomes practice. That is the whole point of Praxis: we don’t hand over a recommendation and leave: we stay long enough to see it turn into the first operating moves.

Our founder’s prior engagement at a global consulting firm involved exactly this kind of market-entry judgment: evaluating 65+ competitors and 55+ market reports behind a live deal. That was prior work for that engagement, not a Praxis client result, but the same rigor this practice brings to a strategy decision.

Deliverables

What you receive

Every engagement is scoped to your situation, but the shape of the work is consistent: the analysis behind the decision, and the path that turns it into practice.

  1. 01

A clear read of the decision

Before any recommendation, we establish what decision is actually being made, who owns it, and what has to be true for each path to work.

  2. Where you can win and where you can't:

sized markets, competitor positions, and the structural forces that will still be true in three years.

  3. Not a menu of twenty ideas.

A small number of real strategic paths, each with its logic, its cost, and the trade-off it asks you to accept.

  4. 04

    A recommendation you can defend

One recommended direction, with the reasoning made explicit so you can carry it to a board, an investor, or a leadership team and hold the room.

  5. The first moves that turn the decision into practice:

sequenced, owned, and scoped so momentum doesn't die when the engagement ends.

How we work

How the engagement runs

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We pressure-test the question itself, gather the numbers, and map the constraints, so we're solving the decision you actually face, not the one that's easiest to model.

  2. 02

    Decide

We narrow to a few high-consequence options and reason them out in the open, with the trade-offs explicit, until one direction is clearly the right bet.

  3. 03

    Enact

We stay into execution, translating the chosen strategy into the first operating moves. A strategy that never changes how the business runs is where most advice quietly dies.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who is strategy consulting for?
Buyers are typically C-suite and board: leaders deciding on direction, market entry, or competitive positioning where the call is high-consequence and can't be delegated to a tool.
Why does this work still command a premium in the age of AI?
AI is excellent at the analysis layer, and we use it. But the judgment call (which bet to make, and what to accept in return) is exactly the part AI can't own. That is the part we're engaged for.
How is an engagement scoped?
Around the decision and its stakes, not a package. We agree what has to be answered, what evidence that takes, and how long it should run: then quote that. A first conversation is a scoping conversation, with no obligation and no packaged pitch, and the quote is free.

Have a strategy decision in front of you?

Tell us what you're deciding. A first conversation is a scoping conversation (no obligation, no packaged pitch), and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right firm for it.
