Cookie policy

Five items, by name. Two are preferences, one is a session note about where you came from, and two belong to Google Analytics and exist only if you allow them.

How consent works here

On your first visit a small notice offers two equal choices: allow analytics or decline. Nothing from Google is requested until you allow it. There is no pre-ticked box and no hidden second step. Your answer is stored on your device and can be changed from the footer of any page, or here:

What can be stored

What is not here

No advertising cookies, no social-media pixels, no chat widget, no embedded review or map services, and no fonts fetched from a third party at request time (the typefaces are served from this site). Google Tag Manager on this site loads exactly one tag, Google Analytics, and it fires the events named in the privacy policy.

Clearing it yourself

Every browser lets you delete cookies and site data for a single site. Doing so here removes your preferences and the Google identifiers; the notice will simply ask again next time.
