HR consulting

Talent strategy, performance systems, and culture. Exec-level HR advisory is premium.

The engagement

How we help

HR consulting is talent strategy, performance systems, and culture: the work of making an organization's people function a genuine source of advantage. Executive-level HR advisory commands a premium, because how a company hires, develops, and holds its people determines whether any strategy gets executed.

We work on the people decisions that shape performance: how you attract and keep the right talent, how performance is managed in practice, and how culture is built on purpose rather than by accident. The scope runs from a focused diagnostic of one people problem to a full people-strategy engagement across talent, performance, and culture. The engagement produces a talent and culture strategy tied to the business: practical systems your leaders can run, not a binder of policies.

Our founder's work at CBIZ involved internal-control testing across more than 1,000,000 data points tied to employee benefit plans, real exposure to the operational side of how a workforce is actually managed, not just how it reads in a policy binder.

For the people-operations work a machine can take over, and the rules around it, see how to automate hiring without breaking the new rules.

Deliverables

What you receive

HR work delivers when it's built around the business, not around compliance forms. The deliverables are operating systems, not policy binders.

  1. 01

    A talent diagnosis

Where your ability to attract, keep, and grow the right people is helping or hurting the business: read from evidence, not sentiment.

  2. 02

    A talent strategy

How you should hire, develop, and retain against where the business is going, so the people function stops being reactive.

  3. How performance is set, measured, and rewarded:

designed to drive the behaviour the strategy needs rather than to fill out forms.

  4. 04

    A culture blueprint

The values and practices that actually shape how people work, built deliberately instead of left to drift.

  5. 05

    An implementation plan

How the changes roll out and stick, owned by your leaders, so the people strategy survives past the engagement.

How we work

How the engagement runs

  1. 01

    Diagnose

We read where talent, performance, and culture are helping or holding the business back, from evidence rather than anecdote.

  2. 02

    Design

We build the talent, performance, and culture systems around where the business is going, so they drive execution rather than paperwork.

  3. 03

    Embed

We roll the changes in with your leaders and give them the cadence to keep them alive after we step back.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this HR administration?
No. It's strategy. We work on talent, performance, and culture as levers of business performance, not on payroll or paperwork. That executive-level focus is exactly where the premium sits.
Do you write policies?
We can shape the frameworks, but the value is the strategy and the operating systems behind them: how you actually attract, develop, and get performance from people, which a policy document alone never delivers.
How is a HR consulting engagement scoped?
Around the decision, not a package. We agree what has to be answered, what evidence that takes, and how long it should run: then quote that. A first call is a scoping call, with no obligation and no packaged pitch, and the quote is free.

Is a people problem limiting the business?

Talent you can't keep, performance that isn't landing, culture that drifted: tell us what's in the way. A first conversation is a scoping conversation.
